InvestPNG is a controlled distribution gateway that applies institutional standards to every stage of the opportunity lifecycle.

Four-Function Operating Model

InvestPNG’s operations are organised around four core functions:

• Opportunity Identification — Sourcing and screening investment opportunities across Papua New Guinea’s priority sectors through partner engagement, government collaboration, and direct market analysis
• Narrative Structuring — Translating raw project information into institutional-grade investment briefs that meet the documentation and disclosure standards expected by qualified investors
• Capital Facilitation — Managing controlled distribution of structured opportunities to qualified investors, coordinating introductions, and facilitating structured engagement between parties
• Investment Intelligence — Maintaining the Knowledge Library as a reference resource for investors conducting due diligence on Papua New Guinea’s regulatory, economic, and sector environments

Partner Engagement Lifecycle

The engagement lifecycle for PNG-based partners follows a defined sequence:

• Initial Contact — Partners engage InvestPNG through the engagement portal, a direct referral, or by submitting an opportunity
• Eligibility Assessment — InvestPNG assesses the partner entity and the proposed opportunity against baseline eligibility criteria
• Capital-Readiness Scoring — Accepted opportunities are evaluated against the five-pillar framework (Legal, Technical, Commercial, Financial, ESG) and assigned a readiness score
• Structuring — InvestPNG develops an institutional investment brief from the partner’s source documentation, applying the platform’s narrative and disclosure standards
• Internal Review — The investment brief undergoes internal review for accuracy, completeness, and institutional quality before publication
• Platform Listing — The opportunity is published to the investment pipeline with appropriate stage classification, sector tags, and discovery metadata
• Investor Promotion — The opportunity is distributed to relevant segments of InvestPNG’s investor network through controlled channels
• Ongoing Management — InvestPNG monitors the opportunity, updates readiness scores as milestones are achieved, and manages investor enquiries through sector engagement desks

Communication Protocols

InvestPNG operates a controlled communication model. All investor enquiries are routed through the platform’s sector-based engagement desks. Partners do not receive direct investor contact through the platform.

Sector engagement desks are staffed for each of InvestPNG’s coverage areas. When an investor expresses interest in an opportunity, InvestPNG coordinates the introduction, manages information flow, and facilitates structured engagement at a pace appropriate to both parties.

This model exists to protect the integrity of the engagement process, ensure that partners interact only with qualified capital providers, and maintain consistent institutional standards across all investor interactions.

What InvestPNG Does Not Do

It is important that partners understand the boundaries of InvestPNG’s role:

• InvestPNG does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or capital guarantees
• InvestPNG does not take equity positions in partner projects
