Every opportunity published on the platform, every piece of intelligence distributed through the Knowledge Library, and every investor engagement facilitated through sector desks is subject to defined standards and oversight mechanisms.

Governance Principles

The platform’s governance model is built on four principles:

• Editorial Independence — Content published on the platform reflects verified data and independent analysis. Project proponents do not control how their opportunities are presented. All materials are restructured through InvestPNG’s institutional brief template.
• Data Integrity — Financial figures, production volumes, cost structures, and technical parameters are never invented or estimated without disclosure. Where verified data is unavailable, the platform states this explicitly.
• Process Transparency — The criteria by which opportunities are assessed, scored, and classified are published and consistently applied. The stage system and verification model are documented and accessible.
• Contact Privacy — No personal contact information for founders, directors, consultants, or project sponsors appears on the platform. All investor communication routes through InvestPNG’s sector desks.

Editorial Standards

All content published on the platform adheres to the following standards:

• Investment briefs are authored by InvestPNG, not by project proponents. Source documents are treated as reference material only.
• Sector intelligence is cross-referenced against multiple data sources before publication. The platform’s data sourcing methodology is documented and available for review.
• Opportunity descriptions present verified facts and clearly distinguish between confirmed data and forward-looking projections.
• All published content undergoes internal review before release to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with platform standards.

Conflict of Interest Management

InvestPNG maintains clear boundaries between its facilitation role and the interests of project proponents. The platform does not take equity positions in listed opportunities. Commercial relationships that could influence editorial decisions are disclosed. Opportunities are assessed against objective criteria defined in the platform’s readiness scoring framework, not on the basis of commercial relationships.

Compliance Framework

The platform operates within Papua New Guinea’s regulatory environment and aligns its processes with international standards for investment promotion. This includes adherence to national investment legislation, respect for regulatory authority across all priority sectors, and alignment with international best practice in investment facilitation and data handling.

Operational Oversight
