InvestPNG’s Verified Partner status is a formal designation confirming that a PNG-based entity meets the platform’s defined standards for governance, capability, and engagement readiness. Verified Partners receive enhanced visibility on the platform, priority access to investor introductions, and recognition as entities that have been independently assessed against InvestPNG’s institutional standards.

What Verified Partner Status Means

Verification is not an endorsement of any specific investment opportunity. It is a confirmation that the partner entity has demonstrated:

• A defined organisational structure with documented governance arrangements
• Relevant capability and track record in their area of operation
• Compliance with applicable PNG regulatory requirements
• Willingness to operate within InvestPNG’s partner standards framework
• Capacity to engage with institutional investors in a professional and structured manner

Verification is assessed at the entity level. It applies to the partner organisation, not to individual projects or opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

Verified Partner status is available to PNG-based entities that meet the following baseline criteria:

• Legally registered entity in Papua New Guinea (company, ILG, statutory body, or equivalent)
• Minimum operating history of two years, or demonstrable institutional backing
• Defined leadership and governance structure with identifiable decision-making authority
• No material regulatory actions, unresolved disputes, or governance concerns on public record
• At least one defined opportunity or service capability relevant to InvestPNG’s coverage sectors

Application Process

The verification application follows a defined process:

• Expression of Interest — Contact InvestPNG through the engagement portal or register on the platform to indicate interest in verification
• Documentation Submission — Provide the required documentation package as outlined below
• Assessment — InvestPNG reviews the submission against the verification criteria
• Outcome Notification — The applicant is notified of the assessment outcome, including any conditions or recommendations

Required Documentation

Applicants should be prepared to provide:

• Certificate of incorporation or equivalent registration documentation
• Organisational structure and governance arrangements
• Summary of operations, capability, and relevant experience
• Current regulatory compliance status (IPA certification, tax clearance, sector licences as applicable)
• Contact details for the nominated engagement representative

Additional documentation may be requested depending on the nature of the applicant entity and its area of operation.

Review Timeline

InvestPNG aims to complete verification assessments within 30 business days of receiving a complete documentation package. Incomplete submissions may extend this timeline. Applicants will receive acknowledgement of their submission within five business days.

Ongoing Obligations

Verified Partner status is subject to ongoing compliance. Partners must maintain their registration, regulatory standing, and governance arrangements. InvestPNG reserves the right to review, suspend, or revoke verification status where a partner’s circumstances change materially or where partner standards are not maintained.

Verified Partners are expected to notify InvestPNG of any material changes to their organisational structure, regulatory status, or governance arrangements within 30 days of such changes occurring.
