InvestPNG draws investment data from multiple institutional sources including the Bank of Papua New Guinea, the PNG National Statistical Office, the Department of Treasury, the Internal Revenue Commission, and sector-specific regulators. International data sources include the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Asian Development Bank, and United Nations agencies.

All data presented on the platform includes source attribution and the date of last update. Where discrepancies exist between sources, InvestPNG notes this and presents the most conservative figure.

Update Frequency

Macroeconomic and trade data is updated on a quarterly cycle aligned with government statistical releases. Commodity pricing data is updated more frequently where reliable reference prices are available. Sector-level data follows the publication schedules of the relevant regulatory authorities.

InvestPNG does not fabricate or extrapolate data points. Where current data is unavailable, the platform presents the most recent verified figure with its reference date clearly stated.
